An electrical fire occurred in one of the residential apartments above the Mosque. The building was promptly evacuated and the emergency services responded quickly to contain and extinguish the fire. Alhamdulillah. While fire damage is localised to the affected apartment, the 1st floor prayer hall and the sisters' prayer hall have suffered some water damage caused by the fire extinguishing water seeping through from the affected apartment. Consequently, prayer services for sisters and Madrassah classes have been suspended until further notice.
